Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to DayV, a personal journaling service operated by Callipeltoside LLC, a United States company. By texting JOIN or otherwise using DayV, you agree to them.
The service
DayV lets you record journal entries by texting or calling +1 (866) 403-6817, or by emailing journal@dayv.app from the address on your account. Each evening, DayV sends you one text message summarizing your own entries from that day.
Text message program
- Program name: DayV Daily Digest.
- How you join: text JOIN to +1 (866) 403-6817 from your own mobile phone. You will receive a confirmation message.
- Message frequency: one confirmation when you join, then at most one digest per day. Replies to HELP, STOP and START are sent when you text those keywords.
- Cost: DayV is free. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop: text STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Text START to rejoin.
- For help: text HELP, or email m16danielson@gmail.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you sign up with.
AI-generated summaries
Daily summaries are written by an AI model and can be incomplete or wrong. They reflect only what you sent that day. DayV is a journaling tool and does not provide medical, mental health, legal or financial advice.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or call 911. DayV does not monitor entries in real time and cannot respond to emergencies.
Your content
Your journal entries belong to you. You give DayV permission to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Please don't use DayV to send anything unlawful or anyone else's private information.
Availability
DayV is in private testing and is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or end the service at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of DayV.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
